For those of us who quest to live in the moment, the future still is very much a reality to consider. WordPress Weekly Photo theme pits the present against hopes and thoughts of what if, what can be, what will be, what has been.

Humans are a species of wants; we thrive on possibilities as well as accomplishments. We thrive on dreams along with the actual–the everyday. The future holds desires, wishes, and, most of all, the unknown. The future is a tunnel of dark and light that feeds into a new day, a new perspective, or a walk into a story of black and white or dazzling color.

I like this picture of a tunnel into the future. Open, bright, but also a little distorted and scary. A great way to solve this week’s photo challenge.

  6. I don’t love the unknown but it is inevitable.

  7. Stunning. The black and white effect and the play of lights truly made the image stand out. Reminds me of “light and hope at the end of the tunnel.” Have a great weekend my friend.

An fascinating interpretation of future tense. A very tricky challenge.

Love the photo. It reminds me a lot of a railway tunnel that leads to a station and also to the other side of the highway. My dogs love it as it has all the smells of all the passengers coming and going………… as well as a few other smells, from time to time.
