WordPress’ Weekly Photo Challenge had me shifting through my photographs for a few of life’s happiest moments: traveling with my grandchildren, viewing autumn flowers, and watching sunsets. While there are scores of other treasures that bring happiness into my days, these are a sample.
To be happy is a state of varying degrees of pleasure. Sometimes the simplest of moments can be the happy memory to cradle.
Sometimes the largest of moments can keep the happy alive endlessly. For example, seeing my grandchildren’s expressions as they learn the joys of photography.
Note: As always I welcome any comment about this post or any part of my blog.

GREAT PICTURES AS USUAL. LIKE THE SHOT OF YOUR GRANDKIDS TAKING PICTURES. IT IS GOOD TO GET THAT YOUNGER GENERATION INTO THE PHOTO HABIT!! FLOWER IS BEAUTIFUL BUT THE CLOUDS – MY FAVOURITE!!!!THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
Thanks, I am deeply “happy” (if there is such a feeling) to have my grandchildren fascinated by the camera’s eye, which teaches them to understand their own visual acuity.
Beautiful images that brings joy and inspiration. I will always have great memories of San Francisco. Just thinking about it makes me happy.
I WANT to return to the city that stole our hearts. Keep thinking about Brenda’s French Soul Food and those fabulously tasty beignets. Thanks.
These are beautiful choices. 😉
Sometimes we are surprised at the moment that brings us that happy feeling, at others it’s so obvious. Thanks.
Beautiful photos, Sally! Love that photo of your grand kids, they look so serious on capturing that perfect moment 🙂
I love their excitement about seeing the world through their own lens and the camera’s. Thanks.
Amazing pictures – they made me happy!
Thanks, your comment brings me happiness.

Sally,
The other photos are, as usual, very good and much appreciated. However, sharing the photo of your grand children at this time of wonder and learning new things is a special gift.
Thank you for sharing and by doing so, rekindling precious memories..
Thanks, I’m delighted that you enjoyed the photographs, and that the one of my grandchildren could prompt such emotion.
The rays emiting through the clouds, appear to me, as if the sun is a flower in bloom. A really pretty photograph.
Many thanks.
I like all of them, they are all special.
Thanks you so much.

i like the last picture. I always liked the sunset.
I also am drawn to sunsets. Love to capture them. Thanks.
If they were my grandchildren, I would surely pick the first one. Not having the emotional connnection with the people, the flower shot wins my vote. They are all great photos though.
Thank you, and I appreciate your comment.
Nice. Grandchildren make me happy too. Love your photos. 🙂
Many thanks for visiting and the comment.
I like your grandchildren’s photo. As usual… but i’m a mother and I know that happiness.

Yes, it was moving back and forth in a light breeze, and it seemed overflowing with happiness. Thanks.
I’d have to go with your grandchildren!
I agree. Thanks.
Love this little series… Happiness is, of course, mostly subjective – we all have different things that bring us happiness!
Absolutely, thanks for the comment.
