Lens:
Let me know what you think about this photograph.
Pens:
In the Lens section is my entry, which shows the confluence and interaction of nature and human nature.
The Back Story: When I discovered Wordless Wednesday, the notion that my blog, which focuses on lens and pens, would occasionally go wordless was not necessarily a conflict. For me, photography has always been about its visual language. So here I am with my third submission (first was on 19 February 2013), and (yes), still creating words.
Note: As always I welcome comments about this post or any part of my blog.
VERY interesting picture – thank you very much!!!
Your very welcome, have a lovely day.
Love the story in this photograph. My iPhone photos do not turn out this well, I need more practice I guess.
Using the iPhone as your camera is a journey in experimentation. I took five to six shots, and then took more. But I was waiting for the moments when the airplane and cloud were crossing each other’s paths. Thanks.
Beautifully dark! I feel like the pilot is going over the Bermuda Triangle.
It does have an ominous storyline, but hopefully there are bright skies through the clouds. Thanks.
Wow! that aeroplane is brilliantly positioned in the frame.
As I watched the scene, I waited for that moment. I took several photographs as I was viewing the drama. Thanks.
I love the interweaving of the two types of nature. Human nature looks very vulnerable.
Exactly, that’s what struct me as I watched the scene, and then grabbing my iPhone.
I’m just so impressed you caught the plane in just the right place, not against cloud that was too dark or too light…
It took patience, and yet it’s surprising how fast the airplane and clouds simultaneously were moving. Thanks.
That is one perfect shot. You captured the mood and feeling of what it feels like during a storm whether on land or on air.
Thanks, I’m a sky watcher; I’m intrigued by their unique qualities each and every day.
Love the image and the range of tones and textures. It reminds me of days past when I used to shoot film pushed to ungodly ISOs, then referred to as ASA…..
I do remember the good old days of shooting with film. Thanks for your comment.
just glad I’m not up there…looks scary!
Yes, it is ominous, but I keep imagining different story lines.
I love the plane looking so small, going into the huge clouds. The black and white makes for good drama.
Thank you.
Nice shot, Sally! For some reason, the image reminds me of those sci-fi thrillers, with the plane heading towards those dark clouds, waiting to swallow it whole. It gives me that eerie feeling.
I felt that it was a perfect take on the way nature can be in control, the drama of the clouds with the tiny airplane. Really like your interpretation too. Thanks.
I like the grainy WWII atmosphere. 🙂
Thanks, it seemed to work.
