Lens:
Let me know what you think about this photograph of the Golden Hour, which was taken a half hour before sunset.
Pens:
I’ve just completed a week of summer adventures, which included visitors from coast to coast. I’m still on meteor time, because we deliberately and serendipitously added new layers to our memories. This week’s photo challenge from WordPress fits snuggly into the theme of the last ten days: golden hours of family and friends moving through new experiences as well as replaying old ones.
In the Lens section is my entry. It was taken on a misty evening, which gave the impending landscape a shimmering character. The grey green added to the sun’s glow. The image was stilled with a half hour yet to show the magnificence that was realized.
No matter how many sunsets are witnessed, I crave their variations. Each one sheds its specific mark on the universe, which seems to continuously engage human nature.
Note: As always I welcome any comment about this post or any part of my blog.
The sky brings forth a picture perfect image just before the Sun’s final farewell. Always a sign that awesome things will come our way…
Thanks, I adore sunsets and their inspiration as well as symbolism.
One of my favourite hours – gorgeous picture!!! Thank you.
Marialla, I appreciate your comment.
Lovely! And I look forward to your sunrise photo 🙂 The hard part about the sunrise is that you never know how many times you will have to wake up early to catch the one sunrise that is spectacular. Glad you have had lots of golden hours with family and friends recently.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment.
Superb post, lovely picture. Best regards. jalal

Thank you, each sunset gives a new view of nature.
Yes indeed. I sure love sunsets.
Thanks.
Beautiful shot and love how your pen wove in the theme. Nicely done Sally!
Tina, thanks, I am enamored by sunsets, and want to push myself to get up for the sunrise. Alas, motivation must be sparked much more.

~ I couldn’t agree more, no two sunsets are alike. each and single one is unique and inspiring.
Jean, thank you for the comment and the visit.
