In light of tomorrow’s staggeringly critical election in my country, the sunset at New York City’s Hudson River Park brought these thoughts:
Legacy is reflection. What will ours be?
Vote for truth. Vote for mutual respect. Vote to elevate the moral compass. Vote to honor each individual. Vote.

Yes but as an Aussie who has lived through serious bushfires I find the response of your president lacks compassion and understanding.
Yes, yes, yes, I could hardly even breathe when I heard what he said. Everyday anxiety holds tight, wondering what assault he will make upon my country, its people and the world.
Yes, he is an appalling man. The rise of the far right across the globe is frightening.
Absolutely, I am hopeful that the results of our election is a light beam into the future.

Yes, it’s a start. Much to do in the next two years, but hope continues.
